3 effigies on the same coin

GROOVIE COINS

Good day

How many coins can you think of that has 3 effigies of the same person on the same coin? As you might has seen, this year's protea rand has 3 Madiba's effigies (two on the reverse, one on the obverse)

However it's not the first time he's likeness has graced a coin thrice as 2015's protea rand had a second image of his face in the form of a shadow in the background of the reverse:

The South African Mint is milking the legacy of Nelson Mandela to the last drop, by striking countless coins in all ranges & denominations with his likeness.

As in all things in life - if you overdo it you will be sorry - and the South African Mint has now sucked every last single drop of Mandeliana that was probably possible.

This overindulgence will surely come back and bite them on their reverse.

I think Mandela's likeness on coins has to be second in commoness only to the queen. Even other countries and private mints sought to cash in by issuing coins and medals with his effigy, some of which look nothing like the man. It is starting to become hard to even keep up by memory with the stats or dates of all these coins.

100% correct - Here is one example - does not look anything like him ...
