JvwComputing 10 Posted July 4, 2018 (edited) I just realized that it's possible for others to spy on my shopping habits by looking at my ratings received from sellers. I think it's a massive privacy risk to display what was bought in the buyer's rating especially if the product is of sexual nature or health related. I suggest BOB adds an option to hide purchases to protect the privacy of their buyers. For buyers, only show the rating received from the seller and don't show the product name or link to the product. And for sellers, show the rating and feedback from the buyer, but not the buyer's user name. On eBay user names are hidden to protect buyers as there is absolutely no need for another buyer to know who left the rating. I spoke to support and there is no way to hide the product name from the ratings I received from items I bought. I'm confident I can force BOB to implement this by going to court, but hopefully they will use common sense and implement this asap. Be careful what you buy on BOB as the world is watching you! Little Miss Muffet 93 Posted July 4, 2018 If you want to buy something discreet then ask the seller not to rate you.

But it's a problem that shouldn't exist and the workaround shouldn’t be in someone else's hands. It's far from the end of the world for me, but this does have the potential to put a buyer in an awkward situation.
