Good Clearing and Forwarding agen

Good Day All

Can anyone please recommend a good clearing and forwarding agent in the Johannesburg area. Preferably one that you have used yourself. I need one with good experience in China to South Africa line who can assist with all aspects of getting the goods here from the suppliers. I am new to the whole importing scene so trying to learn as much as possible. I have already an importers code and found some good products I just need to get them here. Any advice for a newbie would be greatly appreciated.

Just select a good courier for your shipping method when purchasing. DHL and FEDEX expecially have top notch customs clearance departments and they do all of the customs work for you. Cost is around R150 per shipment (regardless of the shipment value) for them to do all of the paperwork.You then pay any applicable duties directly to DHL or FEDEX and they pay the amount to SARS. Most shipments clear the same day that they arrive in SA, provided there is no official inspection hold by customs. No need to use specialist clearance agents anymore if you use a good courier service.
