Sellers deleting item when price not met

Recently I bid on an auction for a car and was the highest bidder but the Seller deleted the auction / bid when I assume they didnt get the price they wanted

Today I see the same car re-listed.  Why is this allowed?  Does bidorbuy check the reasons for a seller deleting an item?
