All Music 53 Posted November 6, 2017 How long has spanscan been a payment option on bob? I opened my payment options earlier this morning and saw that I now have snapscan available as a payment option. As I never activated it myself I assumed it was a default option for all sellers but I see that some sellers have it and others don't. Also, as it is a payment method using a credit card, does it expose the seller to the same potential risks as having the normal credit card option would? PuMiX 11 Posted November 7, 2017 Hi All Music Snapscan has been available since the 23rd of October 2017. There is a chargeback risk similar to Credit Card on using this payment method in the event that goods do not get delivered or if items are supplied that are not as described. ====== 2.3.7. accepting Snapscan payments incurs a flat payment processing fee of 3.5% payable on all payments conducted through bidorbuy (fees are non-refundable) https://www.bidorbuy.co.za/help/1021/bobPay_User_Agreement

PuMiX 11 Posted March 15, 2018 Hi titimachine Below extract has been taken from Snapscan. SnapScan works with e-commerce enabled MasterCard or Visa cards from any South African bank. When you add your card details on the app, it automatically checks the card details and produces an error message if the card is not supported. https://www.snapscan.co.za/help.html You can contact Snapscan on help@snapscan.co.za for more information.
