A seller auctions an item ,surely it should be in his stock !!

I noticed this in a auction,

Do ask about availability before bidding; I'll reply ASAP.""

 

as the seller does not keep the item in question ,

i think BOB should not allow this , unless the seller has the item at hand ,

it should not be listed under auction

This always irritates me. You have the nerve to list an item but then i have to ask if you have stock?! What's the point? Last time i was told there was no stock but the seller kept the listing open. Drop shipping is allowed, but there should be a rule to make sure the stock is available regardless of drop shipping or not
