One Shilling Token: New Gordon Diamond Mining Company (Kimberley circa 1890)

According to Hern’s Handbook on South African Tokens, a Gordon Half Crown (2/6-) token exists with a “U” counter stamp which may be unique.

This Gordon Shilling token also have the “U” counter stamp.

Is this the way that they were issued or is this Shilling also unique?
