New to this. Advice needed on postage.

I'm doing a simple wardrobe clear out. Lots of vintage clothes and some accessories. What is the optimum type of postage/courier to use so that I can be fairly reliable as a seller but also don't lose too much money? Is postnet the middle ground? This is a one off project so I just need it to be simple.
