I think we must ask BidorBuy’s Andries to start a new “sticky” on the coin forum called “Coin Skeptics” like the TV program “Myth Busters”

 

Then we can rope in all the nonsense coin theories that we have been fed for so long!

 

 

I will be away on holiday from tomorrow visiting Pompeii and other historic sites in Italy on an extended trip with my wife. I will also be visiting numismatic museums and hope to bring back a few pictures & memories to share with those interested in the coinage of early Europe and the ancient Mediterranean world.
