anthony03 12 Posted February 4, 2016 Greetings all - Just a word of warning when bidding for guitars which look too good to be true and to also protect yourselves from buying a Chinese rip-off. Ask for photos of both sides of the headstocks and serials numbers. Then verify them with Fender, Gibson, Gretsch , Rickenbacker etc etc etc. You generally get an answer within 3 days with the guitars manufacturing details. The top named brands are all being ripped off at a delivered cost of $US 250-350.00 complete with US serial numbers(fake) and US branded cases.(fake) These instruments are all sub-standard with poor electronics and more often than not, the flamed Maple top is actually a photograph which has been placed onto a thin veneer and coated with Poly coat to resemble the real thing - Buyers beware.
