How can seller FirstShop refuse to supply items I bought, and get away with it?

When I sell something on auction, I am told there is a "contract" that compels me to sell the item(s) at the price the auction closes at.

I have personally sold quite a few items at a loss as a result of that. Also the fact that buyers will rate me negatively compels me to do so.

Why are Big Stores excluded from this when they do it, and repeatedly?

Today I saw again items listed on their site at very low prices. Here are some examples:

http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/213591097/Canon_LEGRIA_HF_R606_0280C003AA.html

http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/213498101/Canon_IXUS_275_HS_0159C001AA.html

http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/211189767/Canon_i_SENSYS_MF212W_multifunction_9540B051AA.html

I've now ordered these items but I can guarantee you they will refuse to supply these items. They are always out of stock LOL.

Buyers also cannot even rate them negatively for it as BidorBuy allows them to log an SNC with "nobody at fault".

This has been going on for ages, and BidorBuy just sits back and does nothing. It seems only the smaller sellers are bound by the rules.

Hi electronics4less,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This sellers listings are done with a trade feed and sometimes the prices do not come through correct with the feed.

Kind regards

Andries

Oh that's OK then. They can just leave the wrong prices.

Your answer just confirms my point.
