insured item stolen, what now?

i received a parcel yesterday that i had opted for insurance, buyer stated that he used his own insurance so whether or not it really is insured i have no clue! when i opened the parcel the box was empty! what happens now if speed services stole my purchase? what do i do now?

There was mention of Sellers using their own insurance and I can't remember but I think that wasn't something you can do as a Seller (stand to correction here). Irrespective of that issue ...if you have opted for insurance and the Seller has "covered" it then they are liable to re-imburse you. If there had been insurance with SAPO then you would have to claim directly, however that would only be possible if you had opened the parcel there in the PO and discovered the problem & reported it then. Once you have left the PO you can no longer claim ! If you are not getting any satisfactory responses from the Seller then send all your info though to BoB and they will take a look at the issue.
