NickyB1 10 Posted September 12, 2013 I would just like to know if it is against the rules to accept a lower amount / counter offer on a buy now item. I had an item listed for R1100. I was contacted and the buyer offered me R800. We settled on R900 and concluded the deal. Did I break any rules, and are we able to accept lower offers? Thanks,
Just Beachin 10 Posted September 12, 2013 Greeting Nicky B1 and Welcome to the forum! I don't believe you broke any rules as long as bob get there seller fees....and that is where you may lose out, if the item closed at a selling price of 1,100. your sellers fees will be R55 as oppose to R45. NickyB1 10 Posted September 12, 2013 Thank you, I am prepared for the extra cost - bid or buy is so much better and safer than eg. gumtree it is worth it. Warm Regards
admin 8 Posted September 12, 2013 Hi NickyB1, Welcome to the forum. To add to what Just Beachin said. For future reference, on a buy now you can just edit the price. Also please note that giving contact details in the Q&A is not allowed. Thank you.
