Fake 1958 5 Shilling

I have managed to get hold of one of these 5 shilling coins which shows the wrong monarch.

The obverse shows George VI, who died in 1952, and the reverse shows the 1958 reverse which belongs to the QE2 series. The photos shown here were taken by someone else, and is not my coin, which is different to this one. In other words there are more than one. The specs of the fake measured by myself against the genuine coin as per Hern are as follows:

Fake: 37.9mm dia

Genuine: 38.8mm dia

Fake: 2.8mm thick

Genuine: 3.06mm thick

Fake: 21.7 gram

Genuine: 28.28 gram

The coins look circulated and are smaller, thinner and lighter. Maybe it was never meant as a counterfeit, but just in case.
