Hi All.

Could somebody please advise as to the origin / history / value of this stamp. I, for the life of me cannot find it in the SG Catalogues. It is inscribed "Canton de Geneve" and "Lettre de Voiture", so I am assuming that it is from Geneva, Switzerland and the date stamp is 1906. The stamp is mauve, diamond shaped and the value is 10c.

 

I am trying to upload the picture, but I am not to sure that I am going to get it right.

We will have to wake KennyN up / perhaps he simply left the country. He is a genius when it comes to research. In my opinion it is a “local”, but Kenny might prove me wrong.
