JosephineScholtz 10 Posted March 18, 2013 Is there a legitimate way to arrange a viewing of a item before you buy it or after but before payment is made?
moodTime 10 Posted March 18, 2013 This needs to be negotiated with the seller, depends on their T&C's
wayjen 10 Posted March 18, 2013 Anything is possible but would have to be some sort of arrangement made. What stops the seller and buyer doing the deal offline should a viewing be arranged? Does the listing show pictures and if so why the viewing and if not, why not? What is the point of taking pictures of an item for sale when a person want's to view? qball 12 Posted March 18, 2013 We do not allow this unless a transaction has been entered into by both buyer and seller. We do allow contact on Classifieds only.
Little Miss Muffet 92 Posted March 18, 2013 I have found that users who ask to view an item (I trade from home) are really wanting to know what else I have for sale. Ofcourse they would like first choice at a lower price. I do not allow viewing at home at all.It would be an impossible task anyway unless they have a few days to spend here.
bitesize 12 Posted March 20, 2013 the buyer should ask first, some don't. I personally don't have the time for viewing, which is why I display as much as possible in my listings.
