Not1CentMore 10 Posted January 15, 2013 Hmmm... so far 7 and 'a hundred and plenty'. Hint: Less than 'a hundred and plenty' and more than 7. Ruthie
lilythepink 11 Posted January 15, 2013 We fell asleep half way through the "monkeying around" with Ruthie's puzzle. Oh well - something else to keep us occupied tonight! Wayne - you are an artist of note, painting dirty pictures in our minds! I, of course, am totally innocent.
MrAerospace 10 Posted January 15, 2013 Hey, hey. I fell asleep and missed all of Wayne's porno suggestions last night. And, Alloway - you are just as bad!

lilythepink 11 Posted January 16, 2013 Okay, I am child-minding this afternoon - our darling little friend, Marion who is 8 years old. She knows how to use "paint" on the computer and I intend asking her to help me circle the items MrA and I have "discovered" thus far. It's not funny that an 8 year old knows more about my computer than I do!!
lilythepink 11 Posted January 16, 2013 I am posting this on behalf of 8-year-old Marion Keen, the dear little girl who comes to visit me once a week ... she found 10 items, Ruthie: We weren't sure if we should count all the flowers, bells, etc!
wayjen 10 Posted January 16, 2013 I am posting this on behalf of 8-year-old Marion Keen, the dear little girl who comes to visit me once a week ... she found 10 items, Ruthie: We weren't sure if we should count all the flowers, bells, etc! You know if you look at your picture you will actually see other things too. I will tell you the things I saw in mine and you tell Marion to ring them. a clothes peg (american style) a glove a coin a bears face a bell a banana
lilythepink 11 Posted January 16, 2013 Shame, Marion's gone home now. She did spot the bell and bear's face - she ringed the bear's face, I think. But we weren't sure about the other thingies. Perhaps I misled her as I told her to find "critters" - and had to explain that that is an American word for "creatures"!!
Not1CentMore 10 Posted January 16, 2013 Lily... great job of circling! Ahhhh, Wayne.... good eye. Ok, all, will make this a tad easier AND add a little 'seasoning' to the pot. No need to circle (using Paint or...) and posting. Just name the 'thingies' in the picture AND.... I have add a pair of Sterling Silver Rainbow Topaz Earrings to the 'prize' from my 'Garden Collection'. Ruthie
lilythepink 11 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) This is for little (8 year old) Marion ... she did the circling and "finding" ... 3 monkeys teddy bear frog tortoise 4 birds bell flowers (many) leaves (a few) book log hand on log Man/George Washington? head on end of log (seems to be a lid at the end of the log?) snail (we think that's what it is) - otherwise a pebble? reeds/tall grasses bugle/trombone (top of picture) How has little Marion done? Oh yes, and Wayne helped her a bit with these ... a clothes peg (american style) - didn't find this as we didn't know what we were looking for. a glove - we thought this was a hand on the log a coin - could also be the George Washington's head at the end of the log. (We decided on Washington as he sat in the cherry tree!) a bears face - lots of these a bell - she found that a banana - still looking ...! Needless to say, Marion learnt quite a bit about America yesterday. Thank you, Ruthie! Edited January 17, 2013 by lilythepink
Not1CentMore 10 Posted January 17, 2013 And the winner is.... Lily! Please send shipping info via PM or email. Answers: flowers monkeys birds bell book turtle coin log glove frog pencil rock leaf Ruthie
MrAerospace 10 Posted January 19, 2013 Ruthie - I didn't see lily or little Marion for almost the entire afternoon. They were so engrossed with your puzzle and, indeed, little Marion got an in-depth history lesson on America without even realising it! Your competitions do a whole lot of good in more ways than one!
