I am confused again......when one looks at the top Sellers in a category...

I am confused......again......when one looks at the Top Sellers in a category....then looks at a specific Seller....then their ITEMS RECENTLY SOLD.......if one clicks on a specific item, on many occasions the notation states...THIS ITEM HAS CLOSED....therefore I assume that this specific item has not been sold....so why is it listed under ITEMS RECENTLY SOLD???

 

To me this could give the wrong impression as to who the The Top Sellers are!!

Not the case. We stopped showing purchase history for fixed price items more than a year ago as we felt that invades buyers privacy and shows their purchase behaviour.

 

An example is this item - it has closed but it sold 9 items across 7 buyers. Perhaps the the copy should change to "This item has closed. 7 buyers bought 9 items".
