Welcome to the Forum.

 

'Speaking out of turn' as I am NOT a staff member, but as a Seller....

 

BoB is not a 'brick and morter' business. Sellers are not 'tied' to the hours between 'open' and 'closed'. They do not have to 'juggle' their eating, sleeping, family time, appointments, etc. around 'normal' business hours. Most Sellers DO respond to inquiries in a timely manner as this IS business but, with flexible schedules and the possible time difference (Sellers outside SA), it may not be 'Johnny on the spot' or within a few hours or even a day. Also, there is a lot more to selling on BoB than listing the item. There is filling orders (sales), preparing for shipping, trips to / from the Post Office... all takes time away from being 'parked' at the computer.

 

Same with BoB Staff. They are 'super-duper' when replying to inquiries / concerns, but the volume of email, phone calls, Forum posts, PMs, etc. on any given day is mountainous. It does take them a while to reply, but they DO respond to each and every one. It would be 'hard pressed' to find a more dedicated and supportive 'team' as BoB... for both Sellers and Buyers.

 

And, it is a holiday. A lot of folk are away from home / office.

 

Is this perhaps the item: Car Navigation - Garmin - Nuvi 3590LMT for sale in Cape Town (ID:83418370)? If so, it may have auto re-listed and is open until 10 January. Perhaps you could re-send your inquiry via this auction. I am 'thinking' the Seller will be either 'checking in' or back in the office before it closes.

Some sellers don't answer questions at all :sad2:. BOB doesn't answer questions asked via "ask the seller a question". Should you believe that there is something wrong with the item or listing etc, you could contact BOB via the "report a problem" icon on the listing page.

 

Shop around on BOB, look at other listings and other sellers, you might find a better deal :awesome: .

Who runs the BoB show?

 

The team and web site go to extraordinary lengths to hide and protect the owners and administrators (decision / policy makers) at Bid or Buy....some one drew up the rules and approved them.....who?...We know all the other CEOs in the IT world....Micro soft, Google, E-bay, Face book , Apple etc.....so where does the buck stop at Bid or Buy?....please tell or I WILL find out.....and that wont be good! lol

Yay!....Yes some of us sellers don't respond quick enough....sorry! Some times we gotta leave the puter to eat, go shopping, weed the garden and make love to our partners even.....with out an on-line PC at our side.....selling is for fun but we mostly still got a day job!....Be patient ok!.....gotta lurv it! xx
