I'm holding up pretty okay as I've been through all this before, but hubby and his brother and sister are falling apart. We're all meeting up in PE tomorrow and it looks like my shoulders are going to be putting in overtime (not that I mind though - I'm used to being the strong one for everyone). Just lousy timing though... from planning to celebrate the day by popping in at Dad at the frail care centre, now to planning other things.

 

Dad B had a good life... lots of ups and downs, but in the end life just got too much for him to bear especially once his mind started going.

 

Another angel got his wings today... he is finally at peace.

Sorry we've heard about this so late - being away from computer things is responsible! However, Terry and I both extend our sincerest condolences to you both. The loss of a parent is never easy, even when it releases them from suffering and we know we should be happy for that. Just count another star in the sky at night ...!

Thank you everyone for your concern and kind words! We arrived back home safely about 2 hours ago so now "life goes on"... opening the shop again in the morning and trying to catch up with BoB work.
