Twelve Days Before Christmas (or thereabouts)

Recommended Posts

tsk...tsk...tsk

Come now people, do we have a case of too much banter and not enough reading of the game rules here? The names of the animals to be found were named in the first post when the game started but people were circling everything in site even shadows of baby J***s and the virgin Mary and the shadow of a slice of toast with a burn that looked like a toaster, come now.

I am going to place in my wizards hat the names of those that went dilly with the circles and draw a winner whether they be correct or not because this is a birthday month.

Congrats 'Just Beachin' !

   ... No wonder we have been given an eye chart for the next game - one consolation at least I was not the only nutter not to read instructions! Heaven forbid and I have to go and renew my drivers licence tomorrow - maybe a a few 'happy cookies' tucked into my handbag and fed to the lemon faced officials might do the trick ...

Game #6 is closed. Mr. Elf will announce winner 'sometime' Monday.

Game #7: Check-up from the Neck Up

Do you need glasses? Maybe, maybe not. What does this eye chart say?

Have fun!

Ruthie

I see spelling mistakes.

I may be way off course here but this is what I think.

I see....

Oh, wait a minute.... I made up the chart and have the answer sheet. Dadburn it. Was hoping to find this 'code' Wayne 'sees' for 'knocking off' a few of the birthdays already 'under my belt'. Kinda like a Walmart 'rollback'.

Open your 'peepers' and read the chart. What does it say?

R - YH - STI - CEIN - RONGU - Y - AHT - BE - NEU - AEHV

"Are you still seeing wrong you haven't been near enough"

... "tyhats wat appens wen wee gt oldr" - not only does our eyesight go for a ball and chalk but it seems like the spelling takes a leave of absence - at least the imagination remains intact :whistling:

Game #7 closed. No winners on this one, so Mr. Elf can keep his ears warm.

Answer: Bottom to top, right to left, unscramble the words.... a few extra letters 'tossed in the mix':

Have u been naughty or nice this yr

Game #8: Bottoms Up

After the 'eye test', perhaps you need a 'nip' or two to 'clear' your vision. How many vodka bottles can YOU find in this picture?

No circling... just fingers and toes.

Have Fun (hic)!

A very, very quick glance - without my first cup of coffee - gives me 7 (maybe 9 - the extra two could be vases?) vodka bottles.

You are doing waaaaaay better than I am first thing in the morning. I can't even walk upright, much less 'focus' long enough to count my steps to the kitchen.

Maybe this will help. Click on the link below and then click on the picture. Methinks it may make it a tad larger.

I see 12 now - but still wonder about two of them possibly being vases!

After 12 bottles of vodka someone might mistake a vase for a vodka bottle.

I've found 54 bottles - whether they are all there or not largely depends on the total consumption of Vodka achieved... LOL

Game #8 closed. Mr. Elf will announce winner 'sometime' Wednesday.

Game #9: Thar's Gold In Them Thar Hills

The Bill Hilly brothers need to get the 'hooch' from their 'still' to Cootersville where customers are waiting, but the Revenuers have 'upped their game' since the last Agents, assigned with destroying the still and arresting the brothers, were eaten by 'pet' alligators Granny brought back from the Florida swamps when she visited her 'kinfolk' two years ago. Now, instead of more Agents, the Revenuers have laid a different kind of 'trap' to catch the brothers.

What is it? What do YOU see in the picture below? Find it, name it, circle it (using Paint or...) and post.

'According to the answer sheet'.... 82 bottles of vodka.

There were a couple very close answers but today's winner is Cali Craft, congrats.
