I would have said WORLD PEACE but Ruthie might send me the NBA Basketball player Metta World Peace.

Ya never know, Wayne. Says 'an item, or something similar, from their wish list.... within reason'.

I am telling anyone who will listen that number one on my wish list is Haunted Heartland by Michael Norman - I have all the others - Haunted America, Historic Haunted America, Haunted Heritage, Haunted Homeland & Nearly Departed but Haunted Heartland remains a slippery eel - after that I wish for world peace

I want my hubby to come home... He went to PE for a few days as his father was due to go to frail care, and the doctor sent the old man straight to hospital instead. Now it's just a case of "time" and waiting... I've told my hubby to take as long as he needs because his family comes first.

Strongs Janet. Thinking of you and Gavin in this time!

Thanks everyone. Not easy holding down the fort on my own but my mom is keeping me busy - finally unpacking the "rest" of the office that has been in boxes since we moved nearly a year ago. We've also prepared the shop for Christmas and have put out some of the more gift-related items. Although being busy is a blessing in disguise, it is also exhausting! For the next three days I'm only opening the shop at 12 noon as I have to squeeze in some time to do parcels - I've been neglecting the BoB side of things since the weekend and am feeling rather guilty!

Just another 6 listings to do tonight then I'm off to bed. Missing hubby terribly... In all our years together (almost 19), it has only been this year that we've spent time apart - we're always 'together' so I'm really lost without my better half by my side!

Okay, father-in-law is finally in high care at the frail care centre, so the family is all heading to their respective homes over the next few days - yay - hubby will be home by Friday night!

Back to the wish list... If I can't get a magic wand to do all my work, then I'll have to settle with an assistant... but if that too is not possible, then my wish list consists of two items:

1) Airconditioner for the office (whole house is not necessary - just the most "used" room)

2) A holiday! We're planning a well deserved break to Cape Town at the end of January - my first "time off" in about six years! So some nice accommodation in CT would be fantastic - instead of the usual "as cheap as you can go hotel" or back packers! (we will be visiting some suppliers, but are also meeting up with an old BoB seller who has been in Australia for the past few years - we're going "shopping" together much to the horror of our husbands!)

Now back to work...

My wish is for Admin and his family to have some family time at a nice restaurant or even a nice braai/barbecue away from the hustle and bustle.

a cure for pain and depression, and for there to be no side effects from any medications, meds that are needed to sustain life.....and for people to think before they give (what they deem great advice) "pull yourself together" - that is ignorance in many instances, and they should walk a day in the shoes of another, and then take their own advice, and see where it gets them.

Sorry, don't mean to sound "glum" - I am just fed-up.

BIG sorry ; I did not mean to post a reply to "QUOTE" here. I do not know what happened, all I know is, no quote was to be part of my post. Must have clicked on "reply with quote" in error. Miss Jewels. see PM please..

Meeks if you take a thumb sized piece of fresh rosemary, and add it to a cup of hot water, add some sugar (like making tea).Leave it for 5min. then drink it.That should help and it's all natural so zero side effects.(I've studied herbs at length when I started a herb garden 4 years ago.)

If you have anxiety as well, replace the rosemary with 1/4 cup of fresh oregano or add both together.

And if you need a boost -

2 X fresh beets.

3 X fresh carrots.

3 X fresh celery stems

1 X cup of fresh parsley.

1 X apple.

Juice everything in a juicer(add water if it's too thick). It should make 3 - 4 tall glasses. But only have one a day or you will be up all night.Keep the rest in the fridge. This is also magic for someone recovering from surgery or are bed ridden.

Hope that helps:biggrin:

Now THIS one was meant to be replied using quote:smile: Thank you - I will try this and hopefully it does some good. I am all for trying natural remedies as well, but most medical doctors/specialists pull their noses up at that kind of thing, yet I know of stuff that have worked for other people in other needs.

Meeks - just look in the mirror and see the woman I know you to be! Wonderfully warm-hearted, kind in the extreme and a fantastic mother in all senses of the word.

Not many know the caring and assistance you rendered to a mutual colleague of ours for a long time! You've gone so many extra miles for so many people.

Now, don't let depression (or effects of medication) get you down. You've had a tough road to travel with family illness - you know that!

Blessings are being sent to you from Grahamstown. Things will work out and you'll bubble over with joy again.
