Sellers taking advantage when selling a pair of gemstones

It has been observed that certain sellers are charging extra when one buys a pair or more, advertised as a single item. They charge you shipping on 2 or more items when they advertise them as 1 item. Recently I was charged R225 shipping on an item (advertised as a pair). I should have only paid R150 which in itself was steep.

Buyers should steer clear of such sellers and BOB should modify their computer program so as not to allow such practises.

Most sellers are good when you combine purchases but of late prices for combining seems to be escalating making it uneconomical to do so.

Thank you for your post. Combining fees are allowed within reason, this includes such things as packaging costs to ensure your items are packed securely. You are welcome to report the seller to communitywatch@bidorbuy.co.za for investigation into the shipping charges.
