JohnBenn 12 Posted November 15, 2012 Hi I would like to add this stamp for sale, and and some others, but I don't want to list it if it's a forgery and I don't state it as such. This is a thick overprint with the stop after "R" missing. But look at the "R" and the "d",they seem to have been double printed and cleaned. Some advise would be appreciated thank you. John - It's not uncommon to see these stamps with doubling of the "R" and "d". I have never seen a satisfactory reason given why only this part of the overprint is doubled. To me it proves more that the overprint is genuine rather than a forgery. -Morgan
