Wild_Cat 10 Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) Seller Star Line is selling silver jewellery and stating in their ad that it is "925 stamped jewellery". Just beneath that the ad states: "material: Sterling silver finish". Hallooooooo It is either 925 silver or sterling silver finish. it cannot be both. BUT wait... ... that's not all, they are also using the Thomas Sabo logo for this obviously fake jewellery as their negative ratings show. Also see the second link with regards to so called Tomas Sabo Charms. The sabo name is on the fake charm and once again it's 925 stamped and sterling silver finish !!! Can someone PLEASE do someting about this ?!? Link: Bracelets & Bangles - Designer's Silver bracelet with a Angel's Wings Charm*imported was sold for R61.00 on 17 Oct at 22:02 by Star Line in Cape Town (ID:78626222) Link: http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/78221208/Designers_Silver_Nails_Color_Bottle_Charm_imported.html Edited October 18, 2012 by Wild_Cat

wayjen 10 Posted October 19, 2012 If I say "925 Sterling Silver" is there a difference between that and "925 Sterling Silver Finish"?
cp27 10 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) If I say "925 Sterling Silver" is there a difference between that and "925 Sterling Silver Finish"? To me, it is a con artist trick to sell junk. "925 sterling silver" means silver, "925 sterling silver finish" is 99.99% junk material and .01% silver. It shouldn't have "925" stamped on it at all, just my opinion Edited October 19, 2012 by cp27
wayjen 10 Posted October 20, 2012 Yes but could it not be just the word (finish) that is wrong and not the actual item which is inferior to what should be the original?
qball 12 Posted October 22, 2012 The seller has been warned and the item removed.
