lilythepink 11 Posted July 25, 2012 Ruby, our labrador, would have that wig (and the clothes) dragged through the mud and chewed up in no time! Which reminds me ... Yesterday MrA hung out a puffy winter jacket of his so it could "air" in the sun. He happened to hang it over the rain gauge arm where it waved in the breeze. When Ruby saw it she nearly sh*t herself - all her hackles went up and she barked and barked and barked. This got our little maltese going and The Beak had to join in too, barking louder than the dogs were. Seems Ruby thought it was a stranger in our garden ...! When the jacket was taken down and shown to her she calmed down.
svw 10 Posted July 25, 2012 My beasts love their doggie jackets in weather like this... BUT wearing dresses etc & wigs No, No, Noooooooooooo!!!!!!! Although also just had a good laugh this morning I manufacture doggie jackets and have been busy adapting a pattern for a very small dog - not having a model to try it on and not feeling like jumping in the car to go and find one I decided that Minky the cat was just the right size - got it on her no problem BUT she was not impressed, promptly lay on her back and started thrashing around like a mad thing - I eventually got it off her amidst much yeowling and clawing - end result definiately will not be doing something like that again my hands got well and truly scratched...
