Hi all..

I just received my first order ever on bidorbuy... Very exciting..

Also the buyer has made payment through bobPay - EFT.

I will be shipping the item asap but I don't know what documents to put inside the parcel.

Do I need to put a copy of the items list, the packing slip or the tax invoice (I don't charge VAT btw)

Any help is much appreciated

Thx

Hi ExtremeIT

Congratulations ! I would suggest the following.

1) Contact the buyer - thank them for the payment and let them know what day you will be mailing their parcel.

2) Make sure its well packed, clearly addressed. Its really up to you whether you want to include the invoice in the parcel or not.

3) Once mailed contact the buyer as soon as possible letting them know its been mailed and giving them a tracking number.

Thats pretty much all you would need to do!

Good luck and wishing you many more sales to follow!

Good advice from Seeds for Africa - I personally don't include any paperwork inside my parcels.

Are you aware that you can print out a label from the Bid or Buy system. You don't have to print it on an actual label - just on paper and cut it out to stick on your parcel with clear packing tape. Just go into "My Sales", righ hand column on your account page and open up the order. Just under the buyer's name and address you will see the option for a large or big shipping label. You can edit the address as you wish before printing - I personally change it to capital letters.

Good luck and congratulations on your first sale...

Contgrats, when printing the label also if you wish you can print an order/packing list etc, where you can add your comments...I think it is more professional to do this and it only takes a few seconds.

I always include a business card with my bidorbuy details, email address and contact number.

Unexpected little gifts are always a nice surprise. Sweets, calenders, pens etc. When I start selling

I am going to send Blue Bulls caps, keyrings, scarves, banners and the like to bolster their collections

of these scarce items.

Is the whole idea not to gain returning customers :whistling:

You are aware that the powers that be at BoB probably could & would blacklist you for sending rubbish to customers

Your observation has merit. Perhaps the sweets are not a good idea. Buyers could feel bitter

about their diet being broken and things. Better to stay with Bulls stuff you cant eat.

little gold bell around the neck ?

And the whole team is included in the Springbok side. Time to run onto the field in green and pink, I think.

Would make a stunning LP/ CD cover for the world - renowned Bulls songs - Liefliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing being my all time favourite when Derrick Hougaard slotted yet another 3 points. It still brings a flood of tears every time I hear that

song.

The Bulls marketing guys are already over the moon with your Noble Hound`s choice

of sports attire. They know a winner when they see one.
