Investing in Gold Bullion

So I'm looking to get me some bullion :biggrin:

 

Am I correct in saying that there seems to be little difference in the price of Gold Bullion Bars and many Gold Bullion Coins (excluding the obvious collectables).

 

So my next question would be -- in terms of investing in gold bullion, what is the better investment; bars (10, 50, 100 grams, etc.) or the gold Coin equivalent. Or do each have their own merits.

 

And don't worry, I'm just asking for some fellow BOBuyers opinions here, will use or discard as I see fit, this is a liability-free thread

I would go for gold coins that you can purchase at more of less the prevailing Gold price.

Yeah that seems like the way to go.

Kruger's, and then the R1 & R2 gold coins sound like a good bet?
