Not1CentMore 10 Posted May 30, 2012 This ol' building is in a 'world of hurt'. It needs a LOT of work, but it needs ONE THING more important than a 'good scrubbing' and a paint job to get it 'up and running'. What do YOU think it needs? You will find the 'hint' in this puzzle, which, by the by, the 'put together' item is one of my listings. Be the FIRST with the CORRECT answer (post here) and you will win a 'something' from my House 'n Home Collection. (If you've won in the last 30-days, you are ineligable for the prize.) Clock is ticking. You have until 1800hrs FRIDAY night (my time). Have fun! Ruthie

kyle2 10 Posted May 31, 2012 I think its quite quaint in an Adams Family sort of way, you have the windmill for power generation, the is the telescope to see 'Them' coming, there is the well to dispose of 'Them' if needs be, all it needs are pets and people........(strange people)
Jongleur 10 Posted May 31, 2012 Handsome squatter possie. Maybe its a shebeen or the residence of the local sangoma.
MiemsJewels 12 Posted May 31, 2012 (edited) I think it might need some water first, and the wheel for the water. Edited May 31, 2012 by MiemsJewels

Not1CentMore 10 Posted May 31, 2012 (edited) The new 'owner' of this fixer-upper sure could use more than a few of the unbelievably unique garden decor listed Snap Friday tomorrow :whistling:, but.... there is 'one thing' that is needed most urgently and most importantly. What do YOU think it is? (The 'hint' can be found in the puzzle pieces which, by the by, when put together can be found in one of my auctions.) lilythepink 11 Posted May 31, 2012 Does it have a loo, let alone an en suite bathroom?
Pathway 10 Posted May 31, 2012 Okay, Ruthie, I give up - I must have spent over an hour looking at your delightful listings (although I'm a bit worried about the hedgehogs), and I can't find it. Just love the angels, and the tea-light lily candle holders, amongst other things...:wondering:
Not1CentMore 10 Posted May 31, 2012 Thank-you for 'finger' browsing. Yes, there are a lot of auctions 'up and running'; not as many, perhaps, as some Sellers, but probably a tad more than others. Thank-you for the compliment on the open listings (there are perhaps 100 yet to open). Hedgehogs... I am more 'skerred' of the gargoyles that may be 'lurking' in an uppermost corner of this 'rundown' piece of property. Ruthie

Seeds for Africa 18 Posted June 1, 2012 This ol' building is in a 'world of hurt'. It needs a LOT of work, but it needs ONE THING more important than a 'good scrubbing' and a paint job to get it 'up and running'. It needs occupants, that you may find off the Jerry Springer show!
Not1CentMore 10 Posted June 1, 2012 Not 1800hrs yet, but had a new book 'sent' to my Kindle and.... If you put the puzzle pieces together, It will look like this: Hint: 'sassy cat' watering can (auction 66650118 / Snap Friday). Answer: What this ol' fixer upper needs first is water. A good 'spit 'n polish' and paint job won't do a 'hill o' beans' worth of good unless there is water so grass / flowers / crops can grow and the windmill (when fixed) work. Without water, it won't be long until it looks 'ready to be torn down' again. Congrats, Miems! I have your addy. Will post your prize next week and send tracking number.
