SNC Completed but Buyer Still Pays?

Recommended Posts

wayjen

We listed a book and a Buyer won but did not pay within the allotted time so an SNC was filed. The SNC went through it's process and was completed. We relisted the book and it was bought by someone else, now the first person has now paid for the book, without postage costs mind you, and the second person has not paid for the book at this moment although we are checking on a payment that came through today. Both Buyers have the same surname and stay in Bloemfontein although the addresses are not the same and the postal codes.

What are people thinking when they bid and do not pay/communicate with the Seller and what are they thinking when they pay once an SNC is finalized?

We now have to email the first one for their banking details because we refuse to take their money and they are time wasters for sure.

Don't forget to deduct all bank charges when you refund. Very annoying. Makes you feel like just ignoring them and keeping the cash.

Hell yeah, I had to get up to go talk to Jenny about it and she had to get up and come show me her records of both transactions, we need compensation.

Just had a thought, perhaps the original buyer moved house and changed user name(?) Seems a huge coincidence that they have the same surname and both in Bloem.

That was our first thought. husband and wife or brother and sister etc etc but first Buyer has not messaged us to apologize and tell us they paid even though we might not be able to supply the item still, or something along those lines, this is very strange.

Now one of the above Buyers, sends us an email saying they paid us for the book and now we must change the rating. They must think we a daft bunch as they paid AFTER the SNC was completed and the item was resold and when they paid late, we asked for the banking details.

Sounds like the makings for a great Monty Python sketch!......:awesome:

Imagine John Cleese trying to explain this one to Sybil (Faulty Towers) in that high pitched stressed voice he has....
