Buyer did not want to pay postage.

We had a Buyer win a bid for a record and when we stated to him that postage is R38 he refused to pay stating that he could get 3 LP's posted to him for that price and refuses to pay that amount for 1 LP. The case went to SNC and he appealed and BoB found no one at fault (whatever that means) and so we relisted the item. The very same Buyer has now once again won another LP (we did not see it was the same person until we did the paperwork), and I wonder if we will have another case of "I can get 3 LP's for that amount.."?

We could not block the Buyer and if this one goes to SNC again, then we are back to square one.

Hopefully he/she will bid on two more LP's:blink1:.

Send an email to this buyer, tell them what the shipping will be(as was the previous case). And tell them that you will delete their bid if they don't agree to it.

Does the Buyer think that prices have come down now that he bids on another album? To me it is a waste of time.

Yip, bids on an LP knowing full well that postage is R38 and he refused to pay that the last time.

so then why doesn't he go buy the 3 lp's that he says he can? incidentally might be good to know that a LP cannot go as an econoparcel simply because to qualify as an econoparcel the item has to fit these measurements - 45.8 by 32.4, now if anybody can make a lp fit those measurements, especially after wrapping, I would love to know about it.

Exactly! That has always been my gripe when it comes to postage. Buyers see an item on auction and they know the dimensions etc and they bid on it. When they see the postage they get in a huff because it's more yet they have no idea that the weight and dimensions change when the item is packaged and the PO have scales and tape measures to check.

The Buyer has won the bid but can we delete it even now having had issues with the Buyer before?

They can have it as an econo parcel if they don't mind getting it in 2 halves!

No, because he has already bought it you are obliged to sell it to him HOWEVER he is obliged to pay the correct postage for the item as well.
