Hello All

I would like to create an automatic BoB fee calculator in a spreadsheet format, but for the life of me I can't seem to get the formula right.

Please would the MS Excel gurus help me out here?

Much appreciated...

Do you mean you want a incremental list, or to be able to type in an amount and have Excel calculate it for you?

I could be wrong, and there may be a quicker way, but I suspect that you are going to have to do it (the functions) in two (or possibly more) steps. First function will sort into the category (i.e. 0-250; 250.01-5000; etc) - then the second function will multiply your sale amount by the function specified for each category.

Hey guys, I've worked it out..... finally. Nested IF functions...

It is a IF, THEN, ELSE statement that you'd use. Lets assume that cell A1 is your selling price (excluding shipping) and B1 is where you want the fee/result displayed.

You will put the following formula into B1.

=IF(A1<250,A1*0.05,IF(A1<5000,(A1-250)*0.04+12.5,IF(A1<100000,(A1-5000)*0.035+202.5)))

This works out BOB fees up to a R99,999.99 sale

Hope it helps you folk!
