Not1CentMore 10 Posted April 29, 2012 Well, kinda / sorta. Skittles is a 4-month-old Boxer / German Shorthair Pointer mix adopted from the Humane Society. She was found in a dumpster at 6-weeks and has been waiting for a home. All shots and no worries about babies. Miss Fitt is NOT impressed. Inu has a 'don't bother me and I won't bother you' attitude and Thumper... well, at nearly 11-years, she is just trying to stay away from the 'whippersnapper'. lilythepink 11 Posted April 29, 2012 Skittles is delightfully cute with his unique ear set! Heinz 57 varieties, obviously? Hope he finds a wonderfully, loving home if you can't keep him. (Don't blame Miss Fitt for not being impressed - but even she could grow to love this fella!)
mellowred 10 Posted April 29, 2012 Now that is a cheeky face. Lovely Ruthie.
svw 10 Posted April 29, 2012 Skittles - looks like a lively little thing - really hope you can keep her!
wayjen 10 Posted April 29, 2012 Skittles will be scoffing Apple Pie soon enough if you leave it on the window sill to cool.
Not1CentMore 10 Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) She will be with me until she has learned to 'mind her manners': housebroke, sit, down, come, heel and 'comfy' wearing a harness and leash....all the 'important' stuff. She will then be 'hitching' a ride with my cross-country, semi- driving son. He gets a might lonely out on the highways and byways and they both will enjoy each other's companionship. Fingers crossed by 6 - 8 months she will be ready to 'roll'. In the meantime, she has made herself quite 'comfy' and has 'adopted' my daughter-in-law-to-be's bed for naps and bedtime. mellowred 10 Posted April 30, 2012 Is she learning to use the laptop? And I assume the cellphone is so that she can navigate with the GPS when on the road?
lilythepink 11 Posted April 30, 2012 If Skittles hasn't found a new home by now, I assume you are keeping her, Ruthie? She could bring you a lot of money just by appearing with that earset on Animal Planet!
wayjen 10 Posted April 30, 2012 Is she learning to use the laptop? And I assume the cellphone is so that she can navigate with the GPS when on the road? Once Skittles learns the laptop they she will be on the dogs forum posting pictures of Ruthie under the heading "Look who was walking in front of me". Not1CentMore 10 Posted April 30, 2012 No, she is a sweetheart and oh, so lovable, but I am not keeping her. I got her for my son; keep him company on the road. She will visit 'Grams' once a month or so, for the weekend, when she and Ryan are home... then, back on the semi to go new places and see new things.
