mellowred 10 Posted April 21, 2012 Sounds serious. SA is not mentioned, does that mean we are safe?
oaks and acorns 10 Posted April 21, 2012 The FBI is encouraging users to visit a website run by its security partner, http: //www.dcwyg.org, that will inform them whether they're infected and explain how to fix the problem. After July 9, infected users won't be able to connect to the internet. Nah, think I'll just wait for July 9, and if stuff doesn't work then format everything and reinstall. Not1CentMore 10 Posted April 21, 2012 Interesting read. Unfortunately, anything our Government, under the current Administration, says or does is 'suspect'. I wouldn't put it past 'them' to use this as a 'scare tactic' to actually gain access to computers so they can monitor our every key stroke. Click on the link and 'we gotchya'. Shoot-a-bug, 'they' are now wanting to 'mandate' black boxes in all new automobiles after 2015 'supposedly' so that info can be gathered IF there is an accident and/or for law enforcement purposes. Hmmmph, 'sneaky linky' it to the GPS and 'they' can track our every move each and every time we get behind the wheel. (Already doing it with cell phones in some of the larger cities: Chicago, New York, etc.) Paranoid? Perhaps, but rightfully so. This Administration, from the White House to the outhouse, is corrupt, sneaking 'things' in bills, by-passing Congress with Executive Orders, refusing to answer / comply with subpoenas, etc. This Administration does not bleed.... it oozes corruption. I'll take my chances come July. Don't trust the lot as far as I could throw any one of them. (just my opinion) Ruthie

wayjen 10 Posted April 21, 2012 maybe it is a scam and people click on the link and some virus enters your pc or some criminal minded elements steal your private information.
mellowred 10 Posted April 21, 2012 That was my immediate thought too. But then it is a News 24 report ... they know better ... they do, dont they ?
oaks and acorns 10 Posted April 21, 2012 (edited) I wouldn't put it past 'them' to use this as a 'scare tactic' to actually gain access to computers so they can monitor our every key stroke. Click on the link and 'we gotchya'. Yup, and when anyone complains they're going to say, 'but you gave us your permission to access your computer'. And be honest, Ruthie. How many Americans do you suppose will blindly click on that link, believing the FBI has their best interests at heart? Not1CentMore 10 Posted April 21, 2012 "Big Brother" is alive and well and flourishing in the USA(?) Very much so.... especially since our last election. (shaking head) Our Country has changed... and not for the betterment of it's people. Ruthie
Not1CentMore 10 Posted April 21, 2012 And be honest, Ruthie. How many Americans do you suppose will blindly click on that link, believing the FBI has their best interests at heart? Unfortunately, most will. Ruthie

Not1CentMore 10 Posted April 21, 2012 What's the latest on the Obama Birth certificate scandal, Ruthie? Guess it boils down to who you ask and / or how it is 'spinned'. April 2012: ...."image of the birth certificate released by the White House appears to have been created originally on a computer, rather than having been originally made on paper and then scanned". http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/mar/1/sheriff-arpaio-obama-birth-certificate-forgery/ Obama's Attorney agrees, but.... http://johnmalcolm.me/2012/04/19/obama-lawyer-admits-in-court-birth-certificate-on-white-house-website-is-a-forgery/ Ruthie
Pathway 10 Posted April 21, 2012 Say what you like, but the US President doesn't have 4 wives which the taxpayer has to support, and 28-plus children, also supported by us, not does he dance around dressed in animal skins, singing 'pass me my machine gun'. voldermort 11 Posted April 22, 2012 Just my opinion here but even if they do track my pc & what I am up to so what, I'm not doing anything wrong - I don't go to porn sites, I don't go to diy murder sites, I don't go to how to make bombs sites etc etc, nothing - same with tracking where my car goes, so if anybody wants to check my pc or where my car goes & if it could help to make the country I live in a safer place they are more than welcome.
