Bit of advice to your kids "set a rat-trap cover with a cloth and leave marshmallow eggs on-top"

lilythepink 11 Posted April 9, 2012 Easy marshmallow recipe - especially for Wayne: 30 ml (2 T) gelatine 250 ml (1 cup) boiling water 750 ml (3 cups) caster sugar egg whites of 2 extra-large eggs 5ml (1 t() vanilla essence Put gelatine in the boiling water and stirl until dissolved. Pour into a mixing bowl along with the caster sugar, egg whites and vanilla essence. Beat well with an electric beater until white and slightly stiff. Pour into a greased baking tray and cut into squares before it cools completely. Roll the squares in icing sugar. OR: Buy some cone cups at PnP and fill them with the marshmallow filling (saves cutting and rolling and you can eat it more quickly!) Sprinkle with hundreds and thousands once it has set. Makes about 32 cups.
