Jongleur 10 Posted April 6, 2012 When will the hurting stop? Every day I get these insulting images accompanied by much cackling and invective. Very stylish though, all things considered. Tomorrow the Bulls will exact revenge for these insults against the Crusaders.

oaks and acorns 10 Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) So who are these Crusader fellows, and are they any good? Edit: Eish. Ok, goddit now. Guess it won't hurt much to be a bulls supporter for a day then, kinda played it forward already anyway. Edited April 7, 2012 by oaks and acorns
Jongleur 10 Posted April 7, 2012 Are they not already known as that :ninja: Oor die jare het die Bulle gewoond geraak aan die term "Verdedeginde Kampione"; "Huidige Kampione"; "Onoorwonde Kampione"; of net "Kampione". Voel vry om enige van hierdie terme te gebruik. As `n Bulls speler erens raakgeloop word is die toepaslike term "Meneer". Selfs as hy eendag jou Bankbestuurder, Staats President, Ambassadeur of Hooggeplaasde Amptenaar word.
oaks and acorns 10 Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) And I think the Bulls (and their supporters) should get over the pink stuff since it doesn't seem to be the issue in NZ... Hats with horns, blue jerseys stretched over generous torsos and flags. The streets around Loftus Versfeld will vary between the bucolic and bacchanal tomorrow morning (NZT) as biltong-chewing Bulls fans converge upon their fortress to fly their colours and scream themselves hoarse. Caught among this crossfire will be the Crusaders. They already know this will be no genteel tea party; those who have played at Loftus before will have already warned the newcomers of what to expect. Bulls' fans love their rugby. They love making noise and when they start flapping their flags in unison it is a memorable sight. If their team starts well the cacophony lifts; for the Bulls players it is almost as if someone has shoved a hose up their noses and pumped them full of helium. They seem to grow bigger, bristling with a combination of aggression and confidence. The crowd feeds off this and if their opponents are within earshot they give it to them big-time, questioning everything from what they are doing in South Africa to their playing ability. That is the mild stuff. Edited April 7, 2012 by oaks and acorns to add, Halala! Halala! Halalalaaaa!
Virgotec 10 Posted April 7, 2012 I don't support the Bulls, but these guys all deserve a gold medal for playing in pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness. It takes guts & balls to do what they are doing and to all those people with big mouths out there, wait until somebody dear to you gets this awful disease or dies from it, then we will talk again. YOU GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oaks and acorns 10 Posted April 7, 2012 And I'm hoping the awareness extends further than that, Virgotech. When one of my landlords came to collect his rent I couldn't help enquiring why he was covered in stitches... he has skin cancer. Just a little place that I call home, sure wouldn't want to lose it, again. GO BULLS !!!!
oaks and acorns 10 Posted April 7, 2012 Van is having a quiet drink in a bar and leans over to the big guy next to him and says, 'Do you wanna hear a Kiwi joke? The big guy replies, 'Well mate, before you tell that joke, you should know something. I'm 1.90m tall, 125 kg and I played as a forward for the All Blacks. The guy next to me is 1.85m, weighs 115 kg and he's an ex-All Black lock. Next to him is a bloke who's 2m tall, weighs 120 kg and he's a current All Black second rower. Now do you still want to tell that Kiwi joke?" Van says, "Nah, not if I'm going to have to explain it three times."

oaks and acorns 10 Posted April 7, 2012 77.00: The Crusaders look to gain momentum inside the Bulls' half. Taylor is able to dot down but the touch judge has is flag out and Carter is penalised for obstruction. The Crusaders are extremely frustrated. Definitely one for the memoirs
