flipflap 10 Posted March 8, 2012 I recently received a bid on my item on auction and i was instructed that i can make an offer to the bidder. When i tried to do so, i was prohibited to do so by the system. Please advise. What must i do now. Must i ask Bid or Buy to contact the bidder?
JohnBenn 12 Posted March 9, 2012 I think you have to register for advance seller status,to be able to make or accept offers. They(BoB) will withdraw R10 from your bank account, but the R10 is still yours (and will be displayed in your account as credit),this is to confirm your banking details. Then, I think you need to send a copy of your ID and proof of residence (both certified) to BoB. qball 12 Posted March 9, 2012 That is correct - you will need to be an advanced seller.

qball 12 Posted March 9, 2012 To register as an advanced seller, log into My bidorbuy, select the Selling tab, you will see a red link saying Upgrade your selling account, click on this and complete the registration form as required.
