cella007 10 Posted February 16, 2012 i am a drop shipper and i import my items from abroad now 3 buyer bought items from me but they all gave me a negative rating because of the shipping time and the customs fee it is clearly stated on my advert that shipping time is 10/31 day for i cannot predict if there will be a delay at customs and its stated that if there are custom fee which is rarely the buyer must pay.i contacted bob about this they said i should contact the buyers and i did but not one off them responds to my emails so what should i do?please this is truly unfair its not my fault if there is a delay i don't ship the items. lilythepink 11 Posted February 16, 2012 Why don't you give each of your buyers a friendly telephone call and explain the situation to them. But please make sure you are calm and collected before you make the calls! Good luck.
Vinyl Lady Decals 11 Posted February 16, 2012 You can also appeal the ratings as shipping and customs fees are clarly mentioned in your listings which in my view gives you a good reason for unfair ratings to be removed.
Not1CentMore 10 Posted February 17, 2012 I agree with both Lily and Tananka. Both buyers are fairly new to BoB (less than 5 ratings) and probably either didn't read (a Seller's nightmare) or do not understand how the rating system works. Your information on time in shipping and duties/taxes is highly visible...and quite clear. I hope you can get this resolved. Ruthie
cella007 10 Posted February 17, 2012 I did try to contact them the don't reply to my emails or sms or voice mails cause that's what i get when calling and one of the orders is not even completed yet but i get a negative and it does not even say why only insulting me i contacted bob and they do not want to remove them this is unfair it is not my fault. lilythepink 11 Posted February 17, 2012 When you "contacted" BoB did you provide them with full information, i.e. details of the listing and all other relevant information? Only once they have all that will do they seem to consider removing unfair negative ratings.
TS Ron 10 Posted February 17, 2012 Cella it is not worth wasting negative energy on something you can not change. Instead use your energy to keep the rest of your buyers happy . It is not pleasant to receive an negative rating I am quite convinced that future buyers realize that at times you can not keep everybody happy all the time no matter how hard you try!
