The price of this item has exceeded our expectations by far.

It came out of a storage unit (must have been from the 70s)

 

Do you think the buyers understand what they are bidding on?

Do you think this item is a rare novelty?

It seems that these kind of slot machines are very popular. There is a program on DSTV (don't know which channel) called "Pickers". These people goes from storage place to storage place where they discover this kind of articles. A pinball machine which they bought for 90 dollars was valued at 800 dollars!

 

Maybe you need to go and look for more?

I am so happy for you Rag Auctioneers. My theory a item is only worth what people are prepared to bid. It depends how easily this item is aviable in working order etc. I am sure the people that are bidding on is something they want.Good luck with the auction.

Rags - I reckon the listing is very clear. I just think these "retro" articles are so in vogue at the moment that their prices go very high. They are collectible - I don't think you should really worry, just enjoy the bids!
