I hope that I would be forgiven for posting news about a current listing of mine here on BoB.

 

Please see the Ajman 1970 Albert Luthuli Silver 5 Riyals of which a mere 145 were minted and a small handful are known and in collections. Ajman is one of the UAE countries with a population of 36 000.

 

These were minted by the Bank of Ajman but few got into collectors hands.

 

An extremely rare piece and was minted in commemoration of Albert Luthuli in 1970. However few people at that time realized the significance of Luthuli's role in SA History and the coins never attracted much attention.
