voldermort 11 Posted January 9, 2012 Just finished reading 11-22-63 by Stephen King and I would highly recommend it (thank you Jade ) Not his usual horror fare but deeply unsettling none the less, leaving you thinking "what if I could go back and change just one thing I choose, what would the pay off be?". Definitely unsettling. Am now about to start Bill Bryson "At Home", another book with some great reviews
TS Ron 10 Posted January 9, 2012 Thank you Voldermort another book to add the family reading list. I want to start reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo: Stieg Larsson before I see the movie I believe the movie has started already!
lilythepink 11 Posted January 9, 2012 I enjoyed wading right through through Bill Bryson's book (it is not for the faint-hearted) but MrA just couldn't "get into it" and gave up, suggesting that his time would be more usefully employed by pulling fluff out of his navel. lol
voldermort 11 Posted January 9, 2012 I actually have all of Bill Bryson's books, At Home is the latest addition to my stockpile and I have yet to be let down with his writing although I have to admit.........if I am finding it hard to sleep, a few pages of Mother Tongue works wonders :sneaky:
