WildBill007 10 Posted December 22, 2011 BOB should be kept proudly South African, This nonsense of thing being shipped from overseas companies are ridiculous and causes great confusion. If you want to buy internationally, then go to E Bay, let us keep BOB for the RSA only and stop catching people out with low prices and over priced shipping charges. This is a protectionist stance that generally means that if we keep to that suggestion, who can guarantee that SA sellers don't raise their prices? There had been many a time than even an international shipping place, which is not always as high or overpriced works out cheaper than a similar local offering and this is after customs had been paid. Those who charge exuberant fees on shipping don't always have good ratings or even good products. This shouldn't exclude sellers from overseas that are honest and offer reasonable prices and reasonable fees. To be even more frank, the idea of: "Keep it proudly South African for South African' skirts far too closely to xenophobia.
mrmouse 12 Posted January 11, 2012 I import from all over the world and freight is far cheaper international than local , it costs more for delivery in SA than to get it into the country to the airport .
