Sorting date stamp cards

Hi guys!

 

I recently acquired a boxload of FDC albums and date stamp cards. I was wondering if someone could give me some guidance in terms of sorting the date stamp cards. I noticed that many of them actually have numbers in the ink-stamp itself, while others don't.

 

Any ideas?

Oh, well, obviously I missed the part about the "date" actually being on the card... I guess the next question would be: how do I know whether the collection is complete or not?
