I am looking for litrature on Bermuda postmarks 1900 to 1902 or a web site will do. Can anyone help?

I suggest you contact the Bermuda Collectors Society.

 

By the way, it seems as if incoming Prisoner of War Mail from Bermuda during the Anglo Boer War is scarce. Are you going to study the different postmarks on these items?

Thanks I will take your advice. The Boer War keeps getting bigger and bigger in my mind, I have extended my collecting areas to cover Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India etc, obviously all Boer War related items. I am even looking at the Bermuda definitives 1865-1903 because of the period, not cheap and seems to be difficult to find in complete set.

 

I picked up an India 1 ANNA with a clear "BOER CAMP" cds on the Friday snap auction for R11.00, never seen this cancellation before. I now need reference material for this and I am positive that this will then lead to another areaof collecting, it's like solving a puzzle.

 

Who would have thought that from starting out collecting RSA FDC's would lead to this.
