Pathway 10 Posted September 16, 2011 Hello, crafty people, please can someone tell me how you get narrow ribbon through a small hole in beads? The bead shop I went to today wouldn't tell me, it's a 'secret'.
admin 8 Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Hi oo la la, Don't they use tiger tail wire, available at craft stores and bead stores, to pull the ribbon through ? Aha, Google is my friend, floss threader  The Complete Photo Guide to Ribbon ... - Google Books Edited September 16, 2011 by admin Google is my friend
Cali Craft and Gems 14 Posted September 16, 2011 Or you could use a beading needle - a bit of a bugger to get used to, but goes quickly once you've got the hang of it!
Pathway 10 Posted September 16, 2011 Goodness, you are both very clever - thank you! Off to the dental care section at Dischem tomorrow - why on earth didn't I think to look there? It's so obvious!!! :cheesy:
lilythepink 11 Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) I am assuming your ribbon is thin. When I worked with thin ribbon or elastic, I use a needle threader. They are available still today but one has have to hunt for them in habadashery sores. Edited September 18, 2011 by lilythepink
