t4tiddles 10 Posted August 19, 2011 Hi, A stupid question. I have a large item that I want to try to sell, frankly its the sort of thing that is better collected, but murphys law states that the buyer will live in the furtherest conceivable place to me. How can I word my auction to imply that shipping is up to the buyer and they are responsible for getting it down the packed, down the stairs and to their house? Ideally I dont want to restrict my sale to Johannesburg only, but the object (a radiogram) is not the sort of thing I can parcel up and pop into the post office with. Strewth, I cant even get it down the stairs into my car!
lilythepink 11 Posted August 19, 2011 My suggestion: Shipping of this large item is for the buyer's arrangement, i.e. buyer needs to arrange with a furniture removal company to collect and pay for the removal company's service.
