To all Union collectors out there.

I know that there are many collectors except the regular posters who keep a keen eye on the forum! I can name a few, but rather not…

Can anybody tell me why the Used Union London 10 Shilling Horizontal Pair (in effect a Pound) is relatively common compared to the Horizontal Used Pairs of the 5 Shilling and especially the 2/6?

This is not a trick question. It is something that has puzzled me for many years. And no, I do not have any 2/6 or 5 shillings horizontal pairs in stock, so I am not trying to boost a market here!

Please give some input? Perhaps there is a very simple or logical answer.

Regards

Jacques
