From the picture and description you have bought a head lamp for R60. What is it are you concerned about? All looks ok.

(Hi!) No man - click on the 10 cent link in my post. :blink1: Listing add reads: "Energizer 7 LED Headlamp ""10c crazy auction""" (I gave the other link, just to show that I infact was buying lamps (I bought two...)

By the way, my first post was written with a smile - the seller surely missed something while listing it. Or, maybe it is just spam... But I wrote it in good jest.

I think the 10c merely states the bid increments in this case. Have a look at that, because that is 10c. Won't be sure if it was an intentional misdirection by the seller or if it was meant in the best way possible, seeing that it does in fact increment with 10c.

Not sure what the problem is here - I can't see fault with the listing . In what way can this be construed as SPAM ????

"Genuine Lamborghini Aventador ""R1 crazy auction"" "

Hi!

Ok... I went back to what that seller sellls... Did you too? If yes - Man... Are you for real...? :colbert: Check those fantastic prices out! Crazy I tell you...! That was indeed only to direct traffic to the seller - just like these below:

That imply starting bid - NOT bid increment. Not so? [by now a bid...\:mad:/ You know, I was right about my first view on that clearly deceiving advertisement!]

And if you still say I'm "unfair..." Can one sell a car with a starting price of three million rand, yet the selling header reads; "Genuine Lamborghini Aventador ""R1 crazy auction"" - and put it into the featured listings too? Let's do that on Wednesday - Today!...

Please check again... it is indeed nasty SPAM = Junk email = unsolicited, unnecessary, unwarranted, incapable of being justified or explained etc. etc. See the other listings of that cheap seller... That is wasting peoples time looking for good prices.

Guess what the BOB on-auction spam definition may looks like: "The main purpose of these sellers are to lure or bait people to their links of sale where the starting bid does not resembles the "implied starting price" in their auction advertisement!" Creating reverse spam!

Wonder what Henchman Cuan thinks! Cuan please...?

I'm 100% calm sir -

Stay calm Buddy, Stay calm!! Almal verstaan nie wat jy probeer se nie. Ek verstaan wat jy bedoel! 10c bid incrediment. 10c x 10 kopers = 10 e-mails "spam": Of hoe? Dan staan die bod eers op R1. Baie meer bieers, is dit reg?

5c bid incrediment 20 e-mails om op R1 te kom.

The auction titles are somewhat deceptive - giving that similar wording is often used on Crazy Wednesday and Snap Friday auctions. I think that sellers shouldn't be permitted to advertise regular items with high starting prices in this manner ... just my opinion

This is not on... the starting price must be advertised correctly, if it does not start at R1 no reserve then you can't advertise it in this manner - I wouldn't call it spam but rather misleading advertising... the team will sort it out...

I think this is funny that people spend there time looking to report people i looked at all these products online and this sellers starting price is still extremely cheap

Bags & Cases - Lowepro Backpack Bag Versapack 200 AW <<<R1 Auction>>> Dont miss out for sale)

R855

So the prices are all the lowest you will find and if you see where the price is does it really matter where it started? when the price is still extremely low?

Hi Love land,

Should the item not start at R1, and is listed as such, it is against the Listing Policy and the Consumer Protection Act as it is misleading.

but the consumer protection act as far as i know doesnt apply to auctions but anyway like i said if you see the price on the item is R220 what difference does it really make you not forced to bid on the item and if you do then you really wanted it and if you get it cheap what does it matter where it started, the thing that gets to me is that its like being in school and getting told on and it seems that lately it is on the rise. When a seller is trying to make a honest living, while people are getting ripped of by shill bidding and nobody reports them look at the link below if this is not the same person then I am the Moses i wish all my buyers were this loyal lol

So right, multi tasking, sorry, but the Listing Policy applies to all listings. No link between buyer and seller, but I have requested documentation from the buyer, thank you.

The "Spot a Problem? Notify Community Watch!" link is in all listings for users to report suspicious behavior, listing policy contraventions etc. The more users that use it, the better, it keeps the site safe for all of us :awesome:

Dicklogic, BOB Freudian slip?

LOL.....?

Hi! I had a look at your ratings - and what you sold... You, are guilty of the same offence - guilty of blatant misleading advertising... Why you ask? :oh:... Your world...: Login Page... (Spikey Vibrating Cockring""""Crazy R1 Action"""')

I assume the "R1 item" has something to do with the pitch of a peacock's crowing [wobbly neck] action...? Well..., it had a rather crazy, stiff starting price around it's neck, not so? - and trust me, I'm not in search of any "R20000" rigidification supports...

For that remarks I'll give you a rating - like this one from one of your happy buyers...:

Neutral rating for Mr. Thick Dicklogic Enlarger Cream 11 Jul 2011 Comment: Your conclusion is not working as you expected it to go down...

No wonder you pulled a BOB Freudian slip here! :nuts:LOL!

Please..., just smile! I say it with a kind smile!

PS Are you in any way related to the seller "Specialist photo"...?

WOW! Eina!

You admit that you were guilty of the same offence - I simply pointed it out - with a sense of humor...

You are very sensitive - It's truly no attack at all - I said it with a clear, yet wry smile - hope you have a wonderful week. Smile - it's 100% free.

PS Vindictive = Showing malicious ill will and a desire to hurt; motivated by spite. I think you so used the wrong word there. I forgive you.

Just pointing out???? do me a favour you are not dealing with one of you children here, first you go look through my listing for a mistake? you cannot find one, so you look for the same offence, then you proceed to add one of my neutral ratings to the forum, you are clearly trying to attack me and my business :disgusted: there is a smiley face for you also free.
