Doesnt any one know the artists?

Hi all,I know nothing about art

 

I need info on two oil paintings

 

Apparently they were painted by order of some Count/Duchess one shows ships at sea while the other one is the grounds of the said Count/Duchess...One is signed FG,the other H V Dalsen....

 

Belongs to my brother in law and has been in has family for 40+ years.....Any input would be appraciated
