Postage overcharge... Please help with advice...

Hi all

 

Just purchased a bulk lot of books which the listing says weighs 17 kg. By my calculation the postage cost should be about R 60,00. I don't mind paying even double that but have been quoted R 540!!!

What to do now? I have emailed the seller querying this so don't want to post a link until I've had a reply.

*sigh* These postage issues are really a head ache.

Silly of me not to check beforehand but never in my wildest dreams did I expect this.

Unfortunately yes silly you I could only suggest you come to some kind of compromise.Good luck this has been the discuss of all times. Either you ask the seller to send the books in quarters instead of bulk packaging.

Never mind... Was quoted for a Speed Services parcel and not an Ordinary Parcel.

Whew, my heart can slow down now.

The seller seems very nice and the communication is brilliant, so thread can be closed, deleted, removed if necessary and I can rest easy :smile:
